Google will expand its offices in Lisbon to 1,300 employees

Portugal takes this investment of the multinational in a process that imposed "to countries like Spain"

The operations center that G oogle opened in Lisbon last summer with 530 employees will be expanded with new offices and will reach 1,300 workers , mostly engineers.

According to the Portuguese weekly Expresso told the Portuguese Secretary of State for Internationalization, Eurico Brilhante Dias, Lisbon was chosen for this investment by the North American multinational in a "very competitive" process in which "countries like Spain" were imposed.

This center of operations will become the second largest pole of Google in Europe, both for jobs and offices.

From Lisbon, in the polygon of Lagoas Park, they serve their customers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East and are dedicated, above all, to digital applications (app).
