Vocento has acquired 100% of the Grup GSR-Produccions de Gastronomia , SL, a company dedicated to the organization of events, promotion and communication within the gastronomy, enology, hospitality and catering sector.
With this operation, which is part of the group's diversification strategy, Vocento further strengthens its presence in the gastronomy sector, where last year it acquired the organizing company of Madrid Fusión . In addition, the involvement of the company in this area has always been present through the publication of specialized editorial content and about thirty events organized by the group's heads, among which is the International San Sebastian Gastronomika Congress - Euskadi Basque Country of El Diario Vasco.
Founded in Barcelona in 1994 by Roser Torras and with a current structure of twelve workers, the GSR Group is the editor of the digital gastronomic magazine 7 Caníbales , which this year received the National Gastronomy Award. It also organizes various popular events, among which the Mercat de Mercats gastronomic fair, an activity organized in Barcelona whose aim is to publicize the different markets of the city and Tast a la Rambla, a gastronomic project that aims to bring high gastronomy to the citizens of Barcelona.
